Nutrient Management Field Day - DeHaan Dairy - July 23 |

A Nutrient Management Field Day wil be held July 23 at the DeHaan dairy in Whatcom County. The address is Stormhaaven Dairy, 9846 Jackman Road, Lynden, WA 98264. The program will begin at 10 AM and will focus on results obtained from evaluation of the relationship between manure management and nitrates in shallow ground water. A special emphasis will be placed on the study which began in 2009 to look at the benefit of limited till approach to reseeding. Presentations lasting 20 to 25 minutes will be given at various stations around the dairy.
