1997-present: Associate Professor, Department of Natural Resource Sciences, Washington State University - Puyallup

Director of WSU Poplar Research Program which entails overseeing the development and testing of hybrid poplars for growth and disease resistance, managing clone arboreta for breeding purposes, and conducting research on the production physiology of fast growing species including Populus and Salix.
