Most waterways have natural and exotic populations of Oomycetes that can infest your merchandise. To protect against this irrigation water from any source other than well or municipal water supplies should be treated and/or monitored for Oomycetes, especially if a regulated species such as P. ramorum is detected in or near your surrounding watershed.
