Research
Currently involved in variety testing, fertilizer testing, low input lawn evaluations, turf growth regulator evaluation, and herbicide testing.
Significant Program Achievements
From 1978-1997 over 100 students completed the turf management option. Of those students 92% are still employed in the golf course maintenance or golf course supply industries. Approximately 70% are golf course superintendents or assistants. OSU turf graduates are employed throughout the Pacific Northwest and around the United States.
