Research Program
My research program currently includes three areas of inquiry: environmental stress physiology, ecophysiology of plants in disturbed environments, and especially in the sustainable management of human-altered landscapes. I am particularly interested in testing horticultural products under controlled, scientific conditions to support or disprove marketing claims.

My current and former graduate students have worked on these and other projects. If you are interested in becoming part of my research team, please e-mail, write or call. I also have opportunities for undergraduate research projects.
